The City of Spokane Valley Planning
Commission is scheduled to hold a public
hearing on May14,2020 at City Hall 10210
East Sprague Avenue, at 6:00 p.m., to
receive public testimony on the following
proposal.

Description of Proposal: The City initiated
code text amendment will provide minor
modifications to Title 17 and Title 20 of the
Spokane Valley Municipal Code (SVMC)
(including but not limited to submittal re-
quirements, required signatures, alterations
modifying a public dedication and minor
grammatical and procedural changes):

action not applicable

Spokane Valley Planning Commission will
conduct the hearing pursuant to Planning
Commission rules of procedure. Interested �'
persons may testify at the public hearing
and may submit written comments and ,'
documents before or at the hearing. The r,
Planning Commission may limit the time ��,
given to speakers. The Planning Commis- ✓,•'
sion will forward a recommendation on the
proposed amendment to the Spokane Valley
City Council. Appeals shall be pursuant to
SVMC 19.90 Appeals.
Environmental Determination: Spokane
Valley, acting as the Lead Agency, issued
a Determination of Non -significance (DNS)
on January 10, 2020 pursuant to WAC 197-
11-340 (2). The 14-day appeal/comment
period expired on January 24, 2020.
Staff Report and Inspection of File: A
staff report will be available for inspection
seven (7) calendar days prior to the hear-
ing at Spokane Valley City Hall, 10210
East Sprague Avenue, between 8:00 am
and 5:00 pm, Monday -Friday, excluding
