1989, 04-21 Permit 88001099 No Final LtrSpokane County Department of Building & Safety JAMES L. MANSON, DIRECTOR April 21, 1989 MR. GORDON P. MELLOM East 18404 Cowley Avenue Greenacres, Washington 99016 RE: No Final of Insert - East 18404 Cowley Avenue Dear Mr. Mellom: Our records reflect that a permit was obtained for the installation of a woodstove/insert at the referenced location. To date, however, we have been unable to conduct the required inspection. Spokane County Code requires final inspection and approval of the appliance prior to use. Please note that it has been our experience that failure to obtain the necessary inspection approvals may invalidate some homeowners insurance policies should the woodstove/insert later be shown to be the cause of any fire damage. Please contact this office within ten (10) days of the date of this letter and arrange for inspection. Inspection approval will help assure a safe installation and allow use of the appliance. Should you fail to contact this office within the referenced time frame, we will assume the woodstove/insert was not installed and accordingly your permit will be considered null and void. Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact me between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., weekdays. Sincerely, DEPARTMENT OF BUILDING AND SAFETY d f Pr) Jeffrey E.
