After a discussion with John we had made a request to Storhaug to confirm that the increase
in the size of the garage would not disturb the flood plain more than the existing layout of the
site plan. Storhaug indicated that they need to take a quick review of the modeling. I haven't received
confirmation from the client to do this. I would not expect a problem, however I would need to model it to be sure. (quote
from the Storhaug email) Based on that, I printed out the Storhaug report submitted to CH2M HILL
and looked at it. Not knowing what I was looking at, I took it to Henry Allen and asked him to
interpret it for me. After a careful review of the current plan submitted for the analysis and
then a review of what Mr. Swift has resubmitted, Henry has determined based on Storhaug's
original analysis that there would be little to no impact in the change of moving the garage
over six feet to the west. The addition in length would have no impact.
After discussing this with Kathy, she feels we can sign off on the permit for the change on the
garage. I will make a note in PLUS. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Mr. Dale Swift submitted a revised site plan (2610 5 Dishman-Mica) and drawings yesterday to
the permit center. This will be the third revision to the proposed attached garage. he is now
proposing a detached garage to be 2+' x 30'. The proposal has moved 6 feet west of the residence
and an additional 6 feet in length from 2" `) approved revision. It meets setbacks and size criteria.
Question: Is there any floodplain review associated with this modification? Mr. Swift has
verbalized to staff that he is in a hurry and I'd like to move forward with any reviews necessary to
show we are not delaying.
