2004, 10-30 Permit BLD-04-04580 Refund MemoSpokane Valley 11707 E Sprague Ave Suite 106 ♦ Spokane Valley WA 99206 509.921.1000 ♦ Fax: 509.921.1008 ♦ cityhall@spokanevalley.org 30 October 2004 Vasiliy Sichkar 1522 W. Shannon Ave Spokane, WA 99205 Dear Mr. Sichkar, In response to your request to cancel Spokane Valley Building Permit # BLD 04-04580, a permit issued to construct a home at 2315 S. Dusk Lane, Spokane Valley, Washington, a refund check for $1,588.76 is enclosed. At this time, following your written request, the building permit is canceled and no construction work is allowed at that building site. As I understand the problem with your original proposal, the dwelling was encroaching into a required flanking easement a few feet. This requirement for setback is recorded on the plat map. This could be addressed by relocating the proposed dwelling footprint on the lot by moving the dwelling a little further away from Dusk Lane by turning the dwelling clockwise a few degrees. If you would care to reinstate this building permit, you may return the amount of the refund check to the city, provide a new plot plan showing compliance with the plat note required flanking street setback, and the permit would be reinstated. This offer to reinstate this permit for the refund check amount would expire on 7 April 2005. After that date the amount would increase to the then current Building Permit Fee, including the cost of a new Plan Review. I am sorry that you have decided not to build your home in Spokane Valley. If you have any questions concerning this refund please contact me at 509.688.0024.
