I have been retained by Jeffrey and Maria Johnson in the hopes of
resolving the problems they have encountered regarding their
ability to acquire a permit for the addition to their home. They
have talked with you, Art Erikson, William J. Moser, Francine, and
numerous other persons. They have received a variety of answers as
to whether or not they will be able to get a variance for the set
back requirement.
I am enclosing a copy of all permits on their property now. Please
let me know what you feel the proper procedure is for them to
follow. It has been customary in the past for persons who have
built without permits, to obtain a permit and have inspection of
the building occur pursuant to standards set at the time the
building occurred. I am also confused as to why this permit and
variance problem cannot be solved administratively.

SEWAGE SYSTEM. Permits are required in all cases by County Resolutions Nos. 45-133 and 47-235.
