1994, 09-30 Update Ltr to CourtDEPARTMENT OF BUILDINGS • JAMES L. MANSON, C.B.O., DIRECTOR Honorable Donna Wilson, Spokane County District Court 1100 West Mallon Spokane, Washington 99260 Re: Spokane County vs. Smith Dear Judge Wilson: A DIVISION OF THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT DENNIS M. SCOTT, P.E., DIRECTOR September 30, 1994 7tit/4 Please be advise that on September 28, 1994, Mr. Smith called our office stating that he had exposed those areas required for inspection. The agreed upon time for the inspection was set for 2 p.m. the same day. Kevin Myre, Frank Christoff, and myself arrived at Mr. Smith's property to conduct the inspection as agreed at approximately 2 p.m. Also present was Mr Don Shaw representing Russel Van Camp. Upon arrival for the inspection it was apparent that none of the required areas identified on September 23rd were exposed. An attempt was made to expose one small area of the building, but the siding was still in place preventing inspection. Unless full exposure is made by Mr. Smith this office will be unable to make our correction report to the court as directed by October 7, 1994. It will be necessary to have at least two working days to complete our report if and when we are contacted by Mr. Smith. Enclosed are copies of photos taken on September 28th to illustrate that exposure was not made. c. Frank Christoff Russell Van Camp Kevin Myre Sincerely, /oovcc. n\ Thomas L.
