RE: Winston A. Smith
Dear Tom and Stan::
Mr.:.
Mr. Smith and'' Deisster. from the "'`office appeared before
Judge::rn__ g- _ 2 may
°recall that at the
Wilsr%,„:;this morx3z>>._..Xou he ,Yiave a month to get
last courti::date it gas ordered that:
things done, and we were.all,fto notify the Court of what
progress was being made a wOek before that next date. I
did write the letter -,of. 11/1/94 .,,and delivered it to you as
a memo of,wha,t had;: en and -,was, beingardone .
Although Mz% Smith h`'s'ma ubstantia-1,progress as Tom
would be aware, there is a fair axn& nt still to be done
and some ofLthat„, mainly the instagation of dry wall on
the outer walls :,of.,_ the house is .ga,;i1W to take more time to
do. There's` also the, matter of -=',.his;,:,. having to apply for a
home loan to pay for'that.,work. It's coming out to be
quite a bit more than Tom -and Kevin's estimate to the
Court. He will continue to do and to have work done
inside. Since my last letter he's had sheetmetal duct
work made and it's to be installed below the floor of the
house in what you consider to be the garage. I would
expect that will have to be inspected, then it would be
timely to get the insulation and get that installed under
the floor and in the walls. Then the drywalling would be
scheduled. Per my previous letter we're estimating that
this will take some time as is obvious_ Some of it is not
practical to do during the winter weather.
Everything should, however, be completed by May, or
possibly before, weather allowing.
If you've any questions please just call Mr. Van Camp or
Mr. Deissner. We will continue to keep the Court notified
of what's been done as the work progresses. I'm assuming
that Kevin will do likewise for you, but to be doubly sure
I will also see that you each have copies of all materials
submitted to theurt's file.
Very truly
