I left you a phone message as I am somewhat confused on this is an Alteration instead of a BLA. It seems like we talked about this awhile back and that there would be some questions. Besides the letter, here are a couple of more iters to consider. And yes, this is an interesting one. The exterior of the plat is not changing and I assume that SHP 04-08 has been accepted by all and that the southerly 19 feet became a dedicated street (by the short plat) when filed in January of 2009. Is there a document that vacated this SHP 04-08? The way the alteration is currently reading, it would appear that the same 19 feet (Alki Ave) is being dedicated again. If the 19 feet was previously dedicated, I would think the public has an interest in that portion of the PAR. It may not matter but could cause some confusion. If the intent is to cause SHP 04-08 to be null and void (or vacated) then it might make sense to make such a statement on this PAR 01-11. If the PAR intent is to just adjust the lot lines between Lot 1 and 2 of the SHP then maybe the previously dedicated road should not be included in PAR 01-11. The title report refers to Lot 1 and Lot 2 of the SHP so voiding the SHP might not make sense. I wonder if a title company might shed some insight into this situation. I would have your legal department review. I'm afraid I have more questions than answers. The answers to the questions above could possibly affect the comments on the attached letter.
