18-051.03 Power City Electric: North Sullivan ITS Spolane jValley CHANGE ORDER NO: 3 ENGINEERING DIVISION CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT NO: 18-051 , PROJECT: N.Sullivan ITS CONTRACT DATE: 4/20/2020 PRIME CONTRACTOR: Power City Electric CIP NO: 259 DESCRIPTION OF CHANGES Added Boring or Horizontal Directional Drilling(HDD)along the—400 linear foot section North of Fairview Lane. This reduces surface restoration costs that would have resulted from alignment change due to found Century Link duct bank conflict. 11 additional concrete curb inlets(spillways)would have needed removal/replacement at a cost of$3,740($340 each per bid price). This change order reduces some other surface restoration quantities as shown highlighted in yellow on attached and adds a new lump sum item for the HDD at North of Fairview Lane(including prime markup on sub and bore pit excavation)as shown highlighted in purple on attached. This new quantity sheet as attached shall replace the current contract quantities as updated with CO#2. Also included are credits for;change in 3"conduit from RMC to PVC (RFI#1=$- 1,176.50). narrower trench segment at Trent top-of-bank(RFI#2=$-300.00), smaller foundation for ITS cabinet(RFI#4=$- 200.00), and deleting ground wire in conduit where applicable(RFI#7=$-1,440.00).
