The following is the title and summary of Ordinance No.20-012 passed by the Spokane Valley City Council
on the 13"1' day of October, 2020:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, SPOKANE COUNTY, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING CHAPTER 3.65 OF THE SPOKANE VALLEY MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO
OPERATION OF CABLE TELEVISION FRANCHISES IN THE CITY, AND OTHER MATTERS
RELATING THERETO.
Section 1 amends chapter 3.65 of the Municipal Code to update definitions; include a process for a cable
television entity to submit an application to provide service in the City; sets out the renewal franchise
process; and clarifies certain regulations and processes. Section 2 speaks of severability, and Section 3
provides for an effective date.
