1998, 12-01 Health Dist re Septic SystemRECEIVED SPOKANE REGIONAL HEALAPICA14q0PrritICT December 1,1998 Mitchell J. & Lucenette Hicks 5920 E. 9th Ave. Spokane , WA 99212-0219 Dear Mr. and Mrs. Hicks: DEC 3 1998 DIVISION OF BUILDING AND PLANNING BY! I have reviewed and approved your request for a 90 day conditional approval of your septic system to see if you can further reduce your water consumption. This approval is for the period January 1, 1999 to March 31, 1999. This will allow you time to make the proposed changes prior to the test period. Approval is based on the following conditions: 1. Water use figures for this period must be submitted no later then April 15,1999-to this office for review. 2. If the water use figures are greater then 291 gallons of water per day then the facility use will need to be changed to meet the design capacity of the septic system. 3. All cleaning and sanitizing of the facility must be continued as required by all Health Regulations. Note: the difference in the two figures quoted to you about the amount of sewage that the existing septic system can handle (291 gallons vs. 360 gallons) is based on current regulations. Due to the change of use of the property to other then a single family residence, the septic system is rated on current regulations, not the 1978 regulations from when the septic system was installed.
