The following is the title and summary of Ordinance No.20-014 passed by the Spokane Valley City Council
on the 27th day of October, 2020:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, SPOKANE COUNTY WASHINGTON,
PROVIDING FOR A RIGHT-OF-WAY VACATION OF APPROXIMATELY 12,847 SQUARE FEET
OF DESMET COURT ADJACENT TO THREE PARCELS (45131.0507,45131.0509 AND 45131.0510)
AND PROVIDING FOR OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATING THERETO.
Section 1 states specific Findings of Fact as outlined in the ordinance; Section 2 describes the property to
be vacated; Section 3 explains the division of property to be vacated; Section 4 states which zoning
designation shall be used for the vacated street; Section 5 sets out specific conditions of vacation; Section
6 provides closing instructions; Section 7 addresses severability; and Section 8 provides for an effective
