The following is the title and summary of Ordinance No.20-018 passed by the Spokane Valley City Council
on the le day of November,2020:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOI{ANE VALLEY, SPOKANE COUNTY, WASHINGTON,
ADOPTING AMENDMENTS TO CHAPTER 3.34 OF THE SPOKANE VALLEY MUNICIPAL CODE
TO CREATE DONOR RECOGNITION AND SPONSORSHIP POLICIES, AND OTHER MATTERS
RELATING THERETO.
Section 1 amends certain definitions in SVMC 3.34.010, 3.34.050 amends use, 3.34.060 addresses
acknowledgement of donors and dedicatory plaques, 3.34.070 speaks to a donation and memorial
guide, and 3.34.080 addresses sponsorships. Section 2 states that all other provisions of Title 3
SVMC not specifically referenced shall remain in full force and effect. Section 3 addresses
severability,and Section 4 provides for an effective date.The full text of Ordinance 20-018 is available
at the City of Spokane Valley City offices as identified above. A copy will be mailed upon request to the
City Clerk.
