COMMITTEE
The City of Spokane Valley seeks
three volunteers to serve on the
Streets Sustainability Committee
as Citizen Representatives. The
City will fill these three positions
based on applications received.
Upon confirmation by City Council,
appointments are anticipated to be
effective March 2021 and are
anticipated to last through October
2021. Eligible applicants must
have their primary residence
within the City of Spokane Valley
boundary. Interested qualified
individuals are encouraged to
apply. The Committee will be
tasked with evaluating the
community's interest and support
for maintaining city streets. The
Committee will generally meet once
a month for six months. Members
will be expected to attend each
meeting, which are initially
planned to be held virtually via web
(or Zoom) meeting. Participation at
additional public meetings beyond
the six anticipated Committee
meetings may be expected. • A
complete description of the
Committee, associated tasks, and
application may be obtained from
the City's website at
www.spokanevalley.org/volunteer.
Applications should be submitted
to Chris Bainbridge, City Clerk, at
10210 E Sprague Ave., Spokane
Valley, WA, 99206 and must be
received no later than 3:00 p.m.,
Friday, February 26, 2021.
