DEBI LABISH being first duly sworn on oath deposes and says that she is the OFFICE MANAGER of the Spokane Valley
News Herald, a weekly newspaper. That said newspaper is a legal newspaper and it is now and has been for more than six
months prior to the date of publication hereinafter referred to, published in the English language continually as a weekly
newspaper in Spokane County, Washington, and it is now and during all of said time was printed in an office maintained at the
aforesaid place of publication of said newspaper, which said newspaper had been approved as a legal newspaper by order of the
Superior Court of the State of Washington in and for Spokane County. That the following is a true copy of a Legal Notice as it
was published in regular issues commencing on the 16th day of July, 2021, and ending on the 6th day of August, 2021, all dates
inclusive, and that such newspaper was regularly distributed to its subscribers during all of said period:

Outside Agencies Funding Requests
As part of the City of Spokane Valleys 2022
budget process, the City seeks requests
from non-profit outside agencies interested
in obtaining funding assistance from the City
of Spokane Valley. Funding proposals will
need to include the completed application
which contains basic information about
the organization, a brief statement of the
organization's purpose and background, a
description of the project or activity for which
funding is requested, and how the funds will
be used during 2022. To be considered for
funding, grant applications, including any
additional presentation materials, must be
submitted to the City's Finance Department
by 4:Wp.m., Friday, August 13,2021—No
matedalsiviltheaccepted attetthedead-
line. Each outside agency will be allotted
3-5 minutes to present their proposal at the
September 21, 2021 City Council Meeting.
The Council meeting begins at 6:00 p.m.
at City Hall, 10210 E. Sprague Avenue,
Spokane Valley, Washington. Should you
wish to participate, please follow the instruc-
tion sheet and grant application found on
the City's website at matomspokanevallay.
org. You must send 12 printed copies of
your proposal materials by the August 13th
deadline. Send all proposal materials to:
