LEGAL NOTICE DEBI LABISH being first duly sworn on oath deposes and says that she is the OFFICE MANAGER of the Spokane Valley News Herald, a weekly newspaper. That said newspaper is a legal newspaper and it is now and has been for more than six months prior to the date of publication hereinafter referred to, published in the English language continually as a weekly newspaper in Spokane County, Washington, and it is now and during all of said time was printed in an office maintained at the aforesaid place of publication of said newspaper, which said newspaper had been approved as a legal newspaper by order of the Superior Court of the State of Washington in and for Spokane County. City Council will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, August 24, 2021, beginning at 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as practical to receive public testimony and input on the City's adoption of interim regulations related to transitional. housing, permanent supportive housing, emergency housing, and emergency shel- ters. The interim regulations will be in effect for a period of 365 days from July 20, 2021, unless repealed, extended, or modified by the City Council. The interim regulations were adopted pursuant to Ordinance No. 21-009, adopted on July 20, 2021, a copy of which is available on the City's website at www spokanevalle_y org. Copies of the ordinance are also available upon request to the City Clerk. The public hearing will take place in person at City Hall Council Chambers, 10210 East Sprague Avenue, Spokane Valley, WA 99206, and via ZOOM Meeting, or in such manner as required by law. Those wishing to make oral or written comments may provide them either in per- son or by zoom. If commenting via Zoom, a link will be provided on the August 24, 2021 agenda. Please note that requests to provide oral or written public comments by Zoom must be received by 4:00 p.m. the day of the meeting. Otherwise, comments will be taken In -person at the meeting in Council Chambers as noted on the August 24, 2021 agenda.
