DEBI LABISH being first duly sworn on oath deposes and says that she is the OFFICE MANAGER of the Spokane Valley
News Herald, a weekly newspaper. That said newspaper is a legal newspaper and it is now and has been for more than six
months prior to the date of publication hereinafter referred to, published in the English language continually as a weekly
newspaper in Spokane County, Washington, and it is now and during all of said time was printed in an office maintained at the
aforesaid place of publication of said newspaper, which said newspaper had been approved as a legal neww spaper 1). of the
Superior Court of the State of Washington in and for Spokane County. That the following is a true copy of a Legal Notice as it
was published in regular issues commencing on the 6th day of August, 2021, and ending on the 20th day of August, 2021, all
dates inclusive, and that such newspaper was regularly distributed to its subscribers during all of said period:

Per Spokane Valley City Municipal Code
3.20, the City of Spokane Valley seeks
one volunteer to serve on the Lodging Tax
Advisory Committee. Due to a recent va-
cancy, this position's term would be effective
upon appointment, and expire December
31, 2021. Per Washington State Statutes,
this five -member committee consists of
two members who represent businesses
required to collect the tax, two members
involved in activities authorized to be funded
by the tax, and one member of the City
Council. This opening is for a member
who represents a business required to
collect the tax. Applicants need not be
residents of Spokane Valley but those with
a business within Spokane Valley city
limits are highly encouraged to apply.
Businesses that collect the tax are encour-
aged to send committee recommendations
to Spokane Valley City Clerk Chris Bain-
bridge, 10210 E Sprague Avenue, Spokane
Valley, Wa. 99206. The Committee generally
meets a few times in the fall. Applications
may be obtained from the City's website
at http://www.spokanevalley.org/volunteer 9
or by contacting Chris Bainbridge, City i�
Clerk, 509-720-5102. Applications should
be submitted to Spokane Valley City Clerk
