REQUEST FOR GRANT PROPOSAL
Activities to Increase Tourism
in Spokane Valley
The Spokane Valley Lodging Tax
Advisory Committee (SVLTAC) was
established by the Spokane Valley
City Council in accordance with
state law, to advise and
recommend to the City Council how
excise taxes on lodging collected in
Spokane Valley should be allocated
in order to best increase tourism in
the City. The purpose of this
Request for Grant Proposal is to
solicit proposals from those non-
profit and municipal agencies
which encourage tourism in 2022
in Spokane Valley. Each entity
responding should develop projects
which meet requirements and
increase tourism in the City of
Spokane Valley.
Complete copies of the "Lodging
Tax Grant Application" may be
obtained on the City's webpage at
www.spokanevalley.org Public
Notices, or by contacting Sarah Farr
at sfarr@spokanevalley.org or at
509-720-5041. Proposals must be
received no later than 4:00 p.m.
October 1, 2021. Please deliver
seventeen (17) unbound, hole -
punched copies of the completed
application and any additional
attachments to: City of Spokane
Valley Attn: Sarah Farr,

Finance, 10210 E. Sprague Avenue,
Spokane Valley, WA 99206.
Important Note: Proposals received
after the above -stated date and
time, even if mailed earlier, will
NOT be accepted.
