DEBI LABISH being first duly sworn on oath deposes and says that she is the OFFICE MANAGER of the Spokane Valley
News Herald. a weekly newspaper. That said newspaper is a legal newspaper and it is now and has been for more than six
months prior to the date of publication hereinafter referred to, published in the English language continually as a weekly
newspaper in Spokane County. Washington, and it is now and during all of said time was printed in an office maintained at the
aforesaid place of publication of said newspaper, which said newspaper had been approved as a legal newspaper by order of the
Superior Court of the State of Washington in and for Spokane County. That the following is a true copy of a Legal Notice as it
was published in regular issues commencing on the 15th day of October, 2021, and ending on the 15th day of October, 2021,

Proposal Description: A Shoreline Sub-
stantial Development Permit to construct
basalt steps to the shoreline and minor
landscape improvements within the 75-
foot buffer area. Other minor trimming and
pruning work within the 75-foot buffer area
will occur. There is an existing single-family
residence on -site.
Proposal Location: Parcel No. 45043.1507
addressed as 11009 E Coyote Rock Lane.
The site is generally located along the south
side of the Spokane River further located in
the NW V. of the SW V4 of Section 4, Town- A`•
ship 25 North, Range 44 East Willamette s
Meridian, Spokane County Washington.

Code (SVMC) Titles 19, 21 and 22, site as-
sessment, and comments from the public
and affected agencies. This information is
available to the public on request.
Determination: This DNS is issued under
WAC 197-11-340(2); the lead agency will
not act on this proposal for 14 days from
the date issued. Comments must be re-
ceived by 5:00 p.m. on October 29,2021.

Appeal: An appeal of this determination
shall be submitted to the Community & Pub-
lic Works Department within fourteen (14)
calendar days after the date issued. The
appeal must be written and specific factual
objections made to the City's threshold
determination. Appeals shall be conducted
in conformance with SVMC 17.90 Appeals,
and any required fees pursuant to the City's
adopted Fee Schedule shall be paid at the
time of appeal submittal. Pursuant to WAC
197-11-680, appeals shall be limited to a
review of a final threshold determination.
