Hearing Process and Appeals: Hearing
Process and Appeals: The meeting will open
with the collection of participant informa-
tion and an overview of how the hearing
will progress. This will occur prior to the
official opening of the hearing. The Hear-
ing Examiner will then conduct the hearing
pursuant to the rules of procedure adopted
in SVMC Title 18 (Boards and Authorities)
and Appendix B.
The public is encouraged to submit written
comments' prior to the hearing by sending
the comments to Martin Palaniuk, 10210 E
Sprague Ave, Spokane Valley, WA 99206,
or email to mpalaniuk@spokanevalley.org.
Comments must be submitted no later than
3:00 PM on November 9, 2021 in order
for them to be received and prepared for
submission into the record. Comments
received will be entered into the record at
the time of the public participation portion
of the Public Hearing. If you would like to
deliver comments to City Hall they must be
delivered prior to 3:00 PM on November 9,
2021 to allow staff to scan and include in
the report. Comments received through US
Mail will be included only if they are received.

Any appeal of the Hearing Examiners deci-
sion will be based on the record established
before the Hearing Examiner; pursuant to
SVMC 17.90 (Appeals).
