DEBI LABISH being first duly sworn on oath deposes and says that she is the OFFICE MANAGER of the Spokane Valley
News Herald, a weekly newspaper. That said newspaper is a legal newspaper and it is now and has been for more than six
months prior to the date of publication hereinafter referred to, published in the English language continually as a weekly
newspaper in Spokane County, Washington, and it is now and during all of said time was printed in an office maintained at the
aforesaid place of publication of said newspaper, which said newspaper had been approved as a legal newspaper by order of the
Superior Court of the State of Washington in and for Spokane County. That the following is a true copy of a Legal Notice as it
was published in regular issues commencing on the 25th day of March, 2022, and ending on the 25th day of March, 2022, all

The following is the title and summary

Spokane Valley City Council on the 1st day
of March, 2022:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
SPOKANE VALLEY, SPOKANE COUNTY,
WASHINGTON AMENDING THE NAME
OF TITLE 6 OF THE SPOKANE VALLEY
MUNICIPAL CODE, ADOPTING CHAPTER
6.10OFTHE SPOKANE VALLEY MUNICI-
PAL CODE AUTHORIZING REMOVAL OF
INDIVIDUALS FROM PUBLIC FACILITIES
IN CERTAIN SITUATIONS, ESTABLISH-
ING A PROCESS FOR SUCH REMOVAL,
PROVIDING AN APPEAL PROCESS
AFTER SUCH REMOVAL; AMENDING
CHAPTER 6.05 OF THE SPOKANE
VALLEY MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING
TO SANCTIONS FOR VIOLATING PARK
RULES; AND OTHER MATTERS RELAT-
ING THERETO.
Section 1 states that the purpose of this or-
dinance is to adopt criteria and procedures
to exclude from City property and facilities,
individuals whose behavior is dangerous,
illegal, or unreasonably disruptive; and
that council adopts the ordinance's recitals
as findings in support of this ordinance.
Section 2 amends SVMC title 6 by chang-
ing its name to City Facilities and Parks.
Section 3 adds new section 6.10 Trespass
from City Property and Facilities. Section 4
amends the prescribed penalty to Include
other sanctions. Section 5 states that all
other provisions of Title 6 not specifically
referenced hereto shall remain in full force
and effect. Section 6 speaks of severabillty,
and Section 7 provides for an effective date.
