In the Matter of Petition
For change of Boundaries by Petition
The City of Spokane Valley, and
The Washington State Dept of Transportation
To: The Board of Directors Trentwood Irrigation District No. 3, Spokane County,
Washington.
1. The undersigned, John Hohman and Timothy P Golden are authorized agents
of the City of Spokane Valley and the Washington State Dept of
Transportation respectively, owners of bodies of land situated in Spokane
County,Washington described as Spokane County parcel numbers
45144.9015 and 45144.9009. A copy of the legal descriptions of said
properties are herein attached.
2. The said lands described herein are within the designated future service area
of the Trentwood Irrigation District No. 3.
3. The said lands require a supply of water that meets the Washington State Dept
of Health standards for potable water to serve the public. As Trentwood
Irrigation District No. 3 is a class A water system and meets Washington State
Dept of Heath standards for potable water, and further is the purveyor who is
designated to serve said parcels accordingly,the said bodies of land should be
included within the boundaries of the District.
4. The undersigned Petitioners request the said bodies of land above described
be brought within the operation of Trentwood Irrigation District No. 3 and be
subject to the following terms and conditions.
a. The Petitioners will pay all costs of these proceedings, including,but
not limited to filing fees,publication charges, engineering fees and
attorney fees for the proceedings before the District.
b. That the said lands upon annexation be subject to the same rights as
lands already in the District, including the right to domestic water
service under the same rules and regulations as applicable to lands
already in the District and the obligation to pay rates,tolls,
assessments and charges on the same basis as lands already in the
District.
c. Petitioners agree to grant the District such easements for installation of
facilities on and for said lands as may be required by the District and
the locations shall be mutually agreed to by the Petitioners and the
District
The Petitioners warrant that they are an authorized agent of the City of Spokane Valley,
WA and the Washington Dept of Transportation,respectively. The City of Spokane
Valley, WA and the Washington Dept of Transportation are the owners of the above-
described properties. The Petitioners request that the boundaries of Trentwood Irrigation
District No. 3 be changed in a manner provided by law to include the land of the
Petitioners above described for water service and in witness whereof these Petitioners
hereby give their respective assent to inclusion on the terms and conditions above stated
by signing and acknowledging this petition.
