DEBI LABISH being first duly sworn on oath deposes and says that she is the
OFFICE MANAGER of the Spokane Valley News Herald, a weekly newspa-
per. That said newspaper is a legal newspaper and it is now and has been for
more than six months prior to the date of publication hereinafter referred to,
published in the English language continually as a weekly newspaper in Spo-
kane County, Washington, and it is now and during all of said time was printed

The following Is the the and summary of
Ordinance No. 22-013 passed by the Spo-
kane Valley City Council on the 12th day
of July, 2022:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
SPOKANE VALLEY, SPOKANE COUNTY
WASHINGTON, AMENDING SPOKANE
VALLEY MUNICIPAL CODE CHAPTER
3.48 RELATING TO THE PURCHASE OF
GOODS, EQUIPMENT, AAND OTHER MATTERS RELATINSUPPLIESG
THERETO.
Section 1 states that the purpose of this
ordinance is to increase the cumulative cost
that requires the use of purchase orders
from $1,000 to $2,500 and to reflect the
City's authority to maintain vendor lists for
the purchase of such goods, equipment,
and supplies with outside entities. Section
2 explains alternatively, the city clerk may
maintain the vendor list by contracting with
public or private entities to maintain such
Iist(s) on behalf of the city; and that pur-
chase orders shall be used for the purpose
of goods, equipment, and supplies with
a cumulative cost of $2,500 or more per
purchase. Section 3 addresses severability,
and Section 4 sets out the effective date.
