JENNETT MEYER being first duly sworn on oath deposes and says that she is
the BOOKKEEPER of the Spokane Valley News Herald, a weekly newspaper.

This hearing will be conducted in person,
with the option to attend remotely using
web and telephone conference tools, as
described below.

Description of Proposal: City initiated'
code text amendment to increase the park-
ing requirement for multifamily residential up
to two spaces per unit, allow one space per
unit for each unit atorbelow80percent AMl,
and clarity that garage spaces, enclosed
spaces, or spaces that require a fee shall
not be counted toward meeting the require-
ment, and other matters related thereto.
Proposal Location: Affects MFR, MU, and
CMU zoned properties citywide.

Hearing Procedures: The Planning Com-
mission will conduct the hearing pursuant to
the rules of procedure adopted in Spokane
Valley Municipal Code.(SVMC) Title 18
(Boards and Authorities). The public is
encouraged to submit written comments
prior to the hearing by sending the com-

will need to be submitted no later than 4:00
PM on August 25, 2022 in order for them'
to be received and prepared for submission

prior to the hearing.
All interested persons may testify at the
public hearing in person or via the zoom
meeting address and/or phone number.
Interested persons planning to attend via

than 4:00 p.m. on August 25, 2022 at the

(Appeals). The Planning Commission will
forward a recommendation on the request.

a Determination of Non -significance (DNS)
on August 5, 2022 pursuant to WAC 197-
11-340 (2). The 14-day appeaVcomment
period expires on August 19, 2022.
