The following is the title and summary of Ordinance No.22-019 passed by the Spokane Valley City Council
on the 20t11 day of September, 2022:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, SPOKANE COUNTY WASHINGTON,
AMENDING 2.35.010 OF THE SPOKANE VALLEY MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO THE
FINANCE DIRECTOR AS AUDITING OFFICER,AND OTHER MA ITERS ERS RELATING THERETO.
Section 1 amends 2.35.010 by amending that the auditing officer shall be responsible for ensuring
compliance with RCW 42.24.080 rather than having the auditing officer be required to perform all required
duties. Section 2 speaks to severability,and Section 3 provides an effective date.The full text of Ordinance
