JENNETT MEYER being first duly sworn on oath deposes and says that she is
the BOOKKEEPER of the Spokane Valley News Herald, a weekly newspaper.
That said newspaper is a legal newspaper and it is now and has been for more

Description of Proposal: City initiated code
text amendment to revise chapter(19.30
Spokane Valley Municipal Code (SVMC) as
it relates to privately initiated site -specific
Comprehensive Plan land use map amend-
ments and privately initiated site -specific
zoning map amendments. The proposed
regulation will identify additional criteria
that shall be considered when reviewing
the proposed map amendments.
Proposal Location: Affects all properties
citywide.

Hearing Procedures: The Planning Com-
mission will conduct the hearing pursuant
to the rules of procedure adopted in SVMC
Title 18 (Boards and Authorities). The
public is encouraged to submit written
comments prior to the hearing by sending
the comments to Martin Palaniuk, 10210 E
Sprague Ave, Spokane Valley, WA 99206,
or email to mpalaniuk@spokanevalley.org.
Comments will need to be submitted no
later than 4:00 PM on December 8, 2022 in
order forthem to be received and prepared
for submission into the record. Comments
received will be entered into the record at
the time of the public participation portion
of the Public Hearing. Comments received
through US Mail will be included if they are
received prior to the hearing.
All interested persons may testify; at the
public hearing in person or via the zoom
meeting address and/or phone number.

than 4:00 p.m. on December 8, 2022, at the

Written comments and documents may
only be submitted prior to the hearing. Any
appeal of the City Council's decision will be
based on the record established before the
Planning Commission, pursuant to SVMC
17.90 (Appeals). The Planning Commis-
sion
will forward a recommendation on the
request to the Spokane Valley City Council.
Environmental Determination: Spokane
Valley, acting as the Lead Agency,ii issued
a Determination of Non -significance (DNS)
• on November 18, 2022, pursuant to WAC
197-11-340 (2). The 14-day appeal/com-
mentperiod expired on December 2022.

report will be available for inspection seven
(7) calendar days before the hearing. The
staff report and application file may be
