SPOKEN LANGUAGE SERVICE AGREEMENT
THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into effect on December 5, 2022, by and between the CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY
and SPOKANE INTERNATIONAL TRANSLATION, INC., a Washington corporation.
The City of Spokane Valley agrees to compensate Spokane International Translation, Inc. for Over-the-Phone
Interpreting(OPI)Services:
Interpreter Service Rate: $0.96 per minute with 30 minutes minimum.
Procedure:The caller will contact SIT at 509-327-8064 to be connected with the interpreter.
Cancellation Policy: 24 hours or billed in full. Client No Shows, Provider No Shows, requester scheduling errors,
appointments canceled on-site,and appointments ending early are still billed in full.
Interpreting services will be performed by DSHS Medically Certified Interpreters when available;otherwise, qualified
interpreters will be used,those having the correct knowledge of their native language and the English language and who
have a cultural understanding of their native country.
