Mayor Wilhite called the meeting to order at 8:00 a.m.
ROLL CALL: City Clerk Bainbridge called roll; all councilmembers present except Deputy Mayor
Taylor and Councilmember DeVleming. It was moved by Mayor Wilhite, seconded and unanimously
passed to excuse Deputy Mayor Taylor and Councilmember DeVleming.
MOTION CONSIDERATION: Request to Use Spokane Valley City Logo — Mayor Wilhite
Mayor Wilhite explained that Council received a request from Barb Beddor, Executive Director of the
U.S. Figure Skating Championships, to use the City of Spokane Valley logo for marketing purposes for
the 2009 World Figure Skating Championships.
It was then moved by Councilmember Munson, and seconded, to approve the use of the City of Spokane
Valley Logo for official marketing and promotional purposes associated with the 2009 World Figure
Skating Championships. Mayor Wilhite invited public comment; no comments were offered. Vote by
Acclamation: In Favor: Unanimous. Opposed: None. Abstentions: None. Motion carried.
It was moved by Councilmember Munson, seconded and unanimously passed to adjourn. The meeting
adjourned at 8:02 a.m.
