he City of Spokane Valley (City) solicits interest from consulting firms
vith expertise in civil design, structural design, environmental services,
and right-of-way acquisition. This agreement will be for approximately
wo years in duration with the option for the City to extend it for
eddilimral time and money if necessary. Consultants will be
:onsidered for the following project. The City reserves the right to amend
erms of this "Request for Qualifications' (8F0) to circulate various
addenda, or to withdraw the RFQ at any time, regardless of how much
ime and effort consultants have spent on their responses.
'reject Descriplien; The work to be performed by the CONSULTANT
.onsisls of preparing final design for the improvements to the Sullivan
toad/SR 290 Interchange. The City has conducted an alternative
;valuation and has selected a preferred interchange configuration that
vill replace the existing signalized diamond interchange. The proposed
mprovements include replacing two bridges over the BNSF railway and
iR 290, constructing a roundabout, on and off ramp improvements,
,tormwater improvements and pedestrian facilities. The design will
nclude working closely with the City, Burlington Northern Santa Fe
tailway Company (BNSF), and Washington State Department of
transportation OVSDOT) staff through the design process. This project
