The following is the title and summary of Ordinance No.23-005 passed by the Spokane Valley City Council
on the 7th day of February,2023:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, SPOKANE COUNTY, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING CHAPTER 19.30 OF THE SPOKANE VALLEY MUNICIPAL CODE RELATED TO
COMPREHENSIVE LAND USE MAP AMENDMENT AND ZONING MAP AMENDMENT
REGULATIONS, AND OTHER MATTERS RELATING THERETO.
Section 1 states that the purpose of this ordinance is to revise Spokane Valley Municipal Code 19.30 as it relates
to privately initiated site-specific Comprehensive Plan land use map amendments and zoning map amendments.
Section 2 sets out specific Findings and Conclusions as noted within the Ordinance. Section 3 amends SVMC
Title 19.30 concerning privately initiated comprehensive plan land use map amendments and zoning map
amendments. Section 4 speaks to severability, and Section 5 provides an effective date. The full text of
