The following is the title and summary of Ordinance No.23-007 passed by the Spokane Valley City Council.
on the 21st day of March, 2023:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, WASHINGTON, AMENDING SECTION
3.20.040 OF THE SPOKANE VALLEY MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO LODGING TAX
ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEMBERSHIP,AND OTHER MATTERS RELATING THERETO.
Section 1 amends SVMC 3.20.040 to allow for the appointment of Lodging Tax Advisory Committee
(LTAC)member alternates,and to establish the required quorum for such LTAC meetings. Section 2 states
that all other sections of 3.20 SVMC remain unchanged. Section 3 speaks to severability, and Section 4
provides an effective date.The full text of Ordinance 23-007 is available at the City of Spokane Valley City
offices as identified above. A copy will be mailed upon request to the City Clerk.
