JENNETT MEYER being first duly sworn on oath deposes and says that she is
the BOOKKEEPER of the Spokane Valley News Herald, a weekly newspaper.
That said newspaper is a legal newspaper and it is now and has been for more
than six months prior to the date of publication hereinafter referred to, published

County, Washington. Approval Criteria:
Spokane Valley Municipal Code (SVMC)
Title 19 (Zoning Regulations), Title 20
SVMC (Subdivisions) and Title 21 SVMC
(Environmental Controls), SVMC Title 22
(Design & Development Standards) and the
City of Spokane Valley Street Standards;

regulations. Hearing Process: The meeting
will open with the collection of participant in-
formation and an overview of how the hear-
ing will progress. This will occur priori° the
official opening of the hearing. The Hearing
Examiner will then conduct thehearing pur-
suant to the rules of procedure adopted in
SVMC Title 18 (Boards and Authorities) and
Appendix B. General public comment will
be received on the rezone and Strawther's
Addition final plat alteration application.
The public is encouraged to submit written
comments prior to the hearing by sending

Comments received will be entered into the
record at the time of the public participation
portion of the Public Hearing. If you would

Comments received through US Mail will
be included only if they are received prior to
the hearing. Environmental Determination:;
The rezone is a required component of a
project that is categorically exemptpursuant
to WAC 197-11-800 and SVMC 21.20.040
from environmental review under the provi-
sions of the State Environmental Policy Act
(SEPA), Pursuant to WAC'r197-11-800(6)i
where an exempt project requires a rezone,
the rezone is exempt if it meets the require--
merits of WAC 197-11-800(6)(c)(1 — iii);
which are met. Staff Report and Inspection
of File; A staff report will be available for
inspection seven (7) calendar days before
the hearing. The staff report and application
file maybe inspected at the Spokane Valley
Permit Center Monday — Friday from 800
a.m. to 5:00 p.m. excluding holidays. If you
