JENNETT MEYER being first duly sworn on oath deposes and says that she is
the BOOKKEEPER of the Spokane Valley News Herald, a weekly newspaper.
That said newspaper is a legal newspaper and it is now and has been for more
than six months prior to the date of publication hereinafter referred to, published

BROADWAY ATI-90 PRESERVATION -
PHASE 1
Notice is hereby given that the City of Spo-
kane Valley, Spokane County, Washington
will accept sealed bids for the Broadway
at 1-90 Preservation -Phase 1. The project
consists of roadway removal, bituminous
planing, HMA paving and concrete paving
all in accordance with the Contract Provi-
sions and Plans.
Copies of the bid packet including specifi-
cations and plans may be obtained in PDF
format at www.cityofspokanevalleyplan->
room.com. To be added to the Planholder's
list, bidders shall download project file's'
or purchase hard copy documents. Any
addenda to this project will be sent only to
thosiisted on the www.cityofspokaneval-
ieyplanroom.com Planholder's List. The
Planholder's List is also available at this

All bids must be accompanied by a bid
deposit In the form of a surety bond,
postal money order, cash, cashier's
check, or certified check in an amount
equal to five percent (5%) of the amount
of the bid proposed. Failure to furnish a
bid bond in compliance with the City's bid
deposit surety bond form shall make the
bid non -responsive and cause the bid to
be rejected.
Bids must be submitted in sealed enve-
lopes addressed to the City Clerk of the
City of Spokane Valley, 10210 E. Sprague
Avenue, Spokane Valley, Washington,
99206 and received not later than 10:00
AM PDT, Friday, May 12, 2023. Bid open-
ings will be held immediately thereafter and
read aloud in City Hall.
The City of Spokane Valley, reserves the
right to waive any irregularities or infor-
malities and to reject any or all bids No i•
bidder may withdraw his bid after the time
announced for the bid opening, or before
the award and execution of the contract,
unless the award is delayed for a period
exceeding sixty (60) days.
The City of Spokane Valley, in accordance
with the provisions of Title Vl of the Civil
Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252,42 U.S.C.
2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations,
hereby notifies all bidders that will affir-
matively ensure that any contract entered
into pursuant to this advertisement, dis-
advantaged business enterprises will be
afforded full and fair opportunity to submit
bids in response to this invitation and
will not be discriminated against on the
grounds of race, color, or national origin
in consideration for an award.
The City of Spokane Valley in accordance
