JENNETT MEYER being first duly sworn on oath deposes and says that she is
the BOOKKEEPER of the Spokane Valley News Herald, a weekly newspaper.
That said newspaper is a legal newspaper and it is now and has been for more

Notice is hereby given that the City of
Spokane Val ey, Spokane County, Wash-
ington will accept sea ed bids for the
Broadway and Park Intersection Project.
The project consists of grading; cement
concrete pavement; sidewalk/curb con-
struction; hot mix asphalt (I-IMA); traffic
signals; channelization; signing and other
work, all in accordance with the Contract
Provisions and Plans. Copies of the bid
packet including specificat'ons and plans
may be obtained in PDF format at www.

shall download project fles or purchase

Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to
4:00 pm. All bids must be accompanied
by a bid deposit in the form of a surety
bond, postal money order, cash, cashiers
check, or certified check in an amount
equal to five percent (5%) of the amount
of the bid proposed. Failure to furnish a
bid bond in compliance with the City's bid
deposit surety bond form shall make the
bid non -responsive and cause the bid to
be rejected. Bids must be submitted in
sealed envelopes addressed to the City
Clerk of the City of Spokane Valley,10210
E. Sprague Avenue, Spokane Valley,
Washington, 99206 and received not later
than 11:00 AM PDT, Friday, May 12, 2023.
Bid openings will be held immediately
thereafter and read aloud in City HaII.The
City of Spokane Valley reserves the right
to waive any irregularities or informalities
and to reject any or all bids. No bidder may
withdraw his bid after the time announced
for the bid opening, or before the award
and'' execution of the contract, unless the
award is delayed for period exceeding
sixty (60) days.The City of Spokane Valley,
in accordance with the provisions of Title
VI of the Civil Rights Act of'1964 (78 Stat.
252,42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the
Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that
will affirmatively ensure that any contrast
entered into pursuant to this advertise-
