Hi,
I’m concerned about changes being made in the landscape of Painted Hills golf course. Bringing in truck loads of
dirt to change the landscape of the property does not seem like a good plan. That area has always been a flood area
and bringing in dirt is just going to send the water elsewhere. I live in the area close to Horizon, Chester and U High
and am concerned about the traffic adding all those homes will bring to the area. Traffic during school drop off and
pick up times already impacts our area and this will just add to the problem. I realize the city wants to continue to
grow but this is not a good idea. I love the Spokane Valley and want to see growth but responsible growth.
Changing an area that has always been a flood plain is not a wise decision.
