This email is to express our objection and opposition to the proposed development at the former Painted
Hills Golf Course location. The area simply cannot support such a large development. The proposed
development will have a serious and negative impact upon the traffic, schools, utilities, etc. The traffic
has already seen an increase in the past several years, and the schools are already full, despite recent
re-builds and remodels.
Further, this area should not be developed for residential use, as it will suffer from the same
environmental issues as the neighboring development to the south of this proposed development. This
will further impact the community and the new homeowners who may purchase the homes in this
development. The developer should not be allowed to build and sell homes in an area such as this to
profit at others' expenses, especially in an area which is within a known floodplain.
