Good Morning Ms. Barlow,
As a resident of the Ponderosa area (above Painted Hills area) I am very concerned about the impact
of putting 580 homes on the current Painted Hills property below the Ponderosa, not only will it take
away a preserve area, but it will effect the aquifer and more importantly the traffic will be out of
site.
I personally bought my house last year to move further out from traffic and have natural area to
enjoy all of those immunities. I cannot even imagine the problems that putting 580 homes will have
not only on traffic for current residence of the area but the schools located there and the fact that
we residents moved out further to get away from all of the housing boom. The schools in our area
are already at capacity.
Please reconsider the proposed development for residents that have spent good money to get away
from all the booming housing and leave something natural so not only can we preserve the area for
the animals but also for the residents who have spent good money to move out that way to get out
of the booming housing area. Not to mention the impact on the aquifer, schools and traffic
nightmares that this development will have on our area.
Sincerely, Sandra Saty
