Ms. Barlow,
I am writing to you to express concern about the proposed Painted Hills
development. I appreciate the need for more tax dollars, but we started the City of
Spokane Valley to improve our quality of life! Not to over develop this into us being
jam packed on top of each other like a giant rat nest. Our schools and roads out here
in the Ponderosa/Painted Hills area cannot take the influx of the people they want tojam in there! Please reconsider!
Please consider buying the land back and making more of a public use area out of it.
We do not have enough places for families to go enjoy the country feel of the valleyanymore! As you can see every time anyone tries to use Mirabeau, it is jam packed
all the time! Browns park was taken away and turned into that ridiculous volley ball
pit! We need more park space. We need more areas to recreate. Even turn it into a
money producing golf course again.
