City Council,
I am strongly opposed to the Painted Hills Development.The property is in a flood
zone and bringing in tons of dirt is not going to solve the problem. It would only create
new and different environmental issues. There is also the issue of roads. The roads
out here are not in good condition right now - a massive number of dump trucks
would further erode them. And who would pay for the repair?
Moving so many people into this area is not going to work.The effect would be
disastrous to humans, animals and the land.
Too many issues have not been addressed: traffic, sewer, roads, habitat, water.
Please do not allow this project to proceed.
