My comments are as follow: 1. I understand that adding thousands of cubic yards of dirt to the site will raise it above the100 year flood plane. However, the ground does settle and over time will this still remain above the elevation needed? 2. How do we know that the dry wells will be sufficient to accomodate the additional run off? Heavy rains could easily swamp the dry wells. Currently water levels can be seen all along the railroad tracks to the west of Dishman Mica during a heavy rain period. 3. No matter how it’s done it will substantially increase the traffic in the area. It willsubstantially impact the schools, the need for police, fire and the entire infra-structure of the area. Myself and most of my neighbors who purchased homes in the area did so due to the nature ofthe open space that the golf course provided. Wouldn’t the city be better served by an awesome regional park? HIking and biking trails, campgrounds and ball fields would preservethe open space feel of the area, not concern itself with the Chester Creek overflow and only add to the esthetic value of the immediate surroundings and the city in general. I would love to see a ballot measure asking the citizens what they think. I voted for candidatesthat opposed this development. If it is allowed to go forward I will work tirelessly to unseat any and all member of the city govenment who approve it. Barry Bauchwitz388bear@live.com Barry Bauchwitz388bear@live.com
