Dear Ms. Barlow-I would like to request a hearing on the proposed development on the former Painted Hills Golf
Course. The proposed development will have long lasting and negative implications on the South Valley
Community. A development to this magnitude would put an undo burden on our roads, our maxed out Central
Valley schools, and would propose a major safety hazard for walkers, bikers, and drivers. In addition, it would
endanger the wildlife in the area. The golf course added to the quality of lives of the people in this community. We
now need to drive at least 30 minutes to play golf. This area would better serve the community as a golf course and
park, which was the promise of the Spokane Valley City Council when they told the neighbors across the street of
their plans so that the neighbors would not purchase it. Please consider this request. Sincerely, Sasha Deyarmin
