The following is the title and summary of Ordinance No. 23-010, passed by the Spokane Valley City
Council on the 23rd day of May, 2023:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, SPOKANE COUNTY, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING CHAPTER 7.05 OF THE SPOKANE VALLEY MUNICIPAL CODE REGARDING
CHRONIC NUISANCE VIOLATIONS, AND AMENDING CHAPTER 17.100 OF THE SPOKANE
VALLEY MUNICIPAL CODE REGARDING ABATEMENT OF CHRONIC NUISANCE
VIOLATIONS.
Section 1 amends SVMC 7.05 concerning purpose and intent,definitions, and chronic nuisances,as noted within the
ordinance. Section 2 amends SVMC 17.100 concerning abatement of chronic nuisances. Section 3 speaks to
severability, and Section 4 provides an effective date. The full text of Ordinance 23-010 is available at the City
of Spokane Valley City offices as identified above. A copy will be mailed upon request to the City Clerk.
