The Grantors, WILLIAM S. TOWNSEND AND ESTHER P. TOWNSEND WHO
ACQUIRED TITLE AS WILLIAM TOWNSEND AND ESTHER TOWNSEND,
HUSBAND AND WIFE, for and in consideration of FOURTEEN T14OUSAND SIX
HUNDRED SEVENTY EIGHT AND NO/100 ($14,678-(10) DOLLARS, and other valuable
consideration, conveys and grants unto the CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, and its assigns,
Grantee, under the imminent threat of the Grantee's exercise of its right of Eminent Domain,
the right, privilege and easement over, upon, and across the hereinafter described lands for the
purpose of grading and approach construction.
Said lands being situated in Spokane County, State of Washington, and described in
Exhibit A, attached hereto and made a part hereof,
The term of this, Temporary Easement shall commence on the date of acceptance of this
Temporary Easement by Grantee and shall terminate on April 30,2028, hereinafter the "Term",

TEMPORARY EASEMENT
Grantee shall provide Grantor written notice no less then 14 days in advance of Grantee's
intent to exercise its rights under this Temporary Easement,
It is understood and agreed that delivery of this temporary casement is hereby tendered and that
the terms and obligations hereof shall not become binding upon the City of Spokane Valley
unless and until accepted and approved hereon in writing for the City of Spokane Valley by its
authorized agent.

Grandview Acres, according to the plat recorded in Volume "S" of Plats at Page 6, Together
with that portion of a vacated 20 foot wide strip lying Northwesterly of and adjacent to said
Lots described as follows:
Begin at the Northwest corner of the East Half of said Lot 5; thence S 19°19'05" E, along the
