The following is the title and summary of Ordinance No. 03-087 passed by the City uf Spokane ValleN
City Council on the 12`h day of November, 2003.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, SPOKANE COUNTY,
WASAINGTON, ESTABLISHING COMMUTE TRIP REDUCTION
REGULATIONS
Section 1 states that the purpose of the ordinance is to comply with the requirements regarding the
Commute Trip Reduction (CTR) program.
Section 2 provides definitions of terms used in the ordinance
Seetion 3 states that the plan in the attachment is incorporated by reference
Section 4 designates responsibility for implementing the ordinance or in the alternative, states that the
City may enter into an agreement with Spokane County for plan implementation.
Section 5 states that the provisions of this ordinance shall apply to any affected employer within the
corporate limits of the City of Spokane Valley
Section 6 describes the requirements for employers
Section 7 describes the recordkeeping requirement
Section 8 explains the schedule and process for CTR reports
Section 9 provides credit for transportation demand management effort ,
Section 10 discusses enforcement and compliance
Section 11 explains the exemptions and goal modifications I
Sechon 12 provides for appeals
Section 13 provides for a severability clause.
Section 14 states this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect five (5) days after publication of the
Ordinance Summary.
