The following is the title and summary of Ordinance No. 04-012 passed by the City of Spokane Valley
City Council on the 2"d day of March, 2004.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, SPOKANE COUNTY
WASHINGTON, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 57 ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE OF TH E
CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, WASHINGTON, ESTABLISHING THE OFFICE OF THE
HEARING EXAMINER, ADOPTING A HEARING EXAMINER SYSTEM, CONFERRIN(T
JURISDICTION AND PROVIDING FOR RULES AND REGULATIONS."
The introductory paragraphs state the intent of the ordinance is to modify Ordinance No. 57 to facilitate
and complete the land use hearing and permitting process.
Section 1 amends Section 15 the appeal process
Section 2 states that except as set forth above, Ordinance 57 shall remain in fiill force and effect.
Section 3 provides for a severability clause.
