The following is the tit(e and summary of Ordinance No. 04-030 passed by the City of Spokane Valley
City Council on the 27`hday of July, 2004.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, WASHINGTON
ESTABLISHIlVG NOISE REGULATIONS UNDER THE NiUNICIPAL CODE
FOR THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, TITLE 8, SECTION 25.060
PERTAINING TO NOISE DISTURBANCES.
The introductory paragraphs state that the City desires to establish noise regulations under the Municipal
Code to protect the health, welfare and safety of the public.
Section 1 states the intent is to promote the right to quiet enjoyment of private property
Section 2 establishes a new section pertaining to noise disturbance
Section 3 establishes a severability clause in the event some portion of the Ordinance is held invalid.
Section 4 states that this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect five (5) days after publication of the
Ordinance Summary.
