BY SPOKANE VALLEY CITY COUNCIL
The following is the title and summary of Ordinance No. 05-003 passed by the City of Spokane Valley
City Council on the 25th day of January, 2005.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, SPOKANE COUNTY WASHINGTON,
AMENDING THE INTERIM ZONING MAP OF THE CITY FOR PROPERTY LOCATED NORTH
OF MISSION AVENUE, SOUTH AND EAST OF THE SPOKANE RIVER AND WEST OF BARKER
ROAD FROM UR-7* TO UR-3.5, AND PROVIDING FOR OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY
RELATED THERETO.
The introductory paragraphs state that the Washington State Growth Management Act allows
comprehensive plans to be amended annually.
Section 1 states the purpose is to amend the Interim Comprehensive Plan and Maps
Section 2 states the Findings as recommended by the Planning Commission
Section 3 explains that the property which is subject to this ordinance is as shown on an attachment to the
ordinance
Section 4 amends the Interim Zoning Code
Section 5 adopts by reference other laws
Section 6 authorizes the modification of the Comprehensive Plan Map and the Zoning Map
Section 7: discusses liability
Section 8 provides for a severability clause.
Section 9 states this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect five (5) days after publication of the
Ordinance Summary.
