The following is the title and summary of Ordinance No. 05-016 passed by the City of Spokane Valley
City Council on the 14th day of June,2005.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, SPOKANE
COUNTY, WASHINGTON, ESTABLISHING SECTION 10.07.09 SIGN
REGULATIONS OF THE SPOKANE VALLEY UNIFORM DEVELOPMENT
CODE, REPEALING ARTICLE V SIGNAGE STANDARDS SECTION 14.804
ET SEQ. OF THE SPOKANE VALLEY MUNICIPAL CODE, PROVIDING
FOR SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
The introductory paragraphs state that a public hearing was held before the Spokane Valley Planning
Commission to provide for public comment on the proposed regulations.
Section 1: establishes Section 10.07.06 Sign Regulations, of the Spokane Valley Uniform Development
Code
Section 2: repeals Article V Section 10.30.660 Signage Standards Chapter 14.804 et seq. of the Spokane
Valley Municipal Code
Section 3: Amends Article II Section 10.30.060 adopting the Spokane County Zoning Code by reference
to repeal certain noted definitions.
Section 4: provides for a severability clause.
Section 5: states this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect five (5) days after publication of the
Ordinance Summary.
