The following is the title and summary of Ordinance No. 05-018 passed by the City of Spokane Valley
City Council on the 10th day of May,2005.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, SPOKANE COUNTY,
WASHINGTON, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 04-044 PASSED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL ON NOVEMBER 9, 2004 AND ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY
OF SPOKANE VALLEY, WASHINGTON ADOPTING A BUDGET FOR THE PERIOD OF
JANUARY 1, 2005 THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 2005 APPROPRIATING FUNDS AND
ESTABLISHING SALARY SCHEDULES FOR ESTABLISHED POSITIONS."
The introductory paragraphs state that the City of Spokane Valley finds it necessary to make changes to
the budget to properly perform various City functions, services and activities.
Section I: amends the budget for the twelve months ending December 31, 2005.
Section 2: describes the funds appropriated for the amendment of the budget.
Section 3: provides for a severability clause.
Section 4: states this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect five (5) days after publication of the
Ordinance Summary.
