The following is the title and summary of Ordinance No. 05-033 passed by the City of Spokane Valley
City Council on the 13th day of December,2005:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, SPOKANE COUNTY,
WASHINGTON, ESTABLISHING SPOKANE VALLEY CODE SECTION 10.05.450 —
10.05.455 ADOPTING REGULATIONS FOR ACCEPTING RIGHT-OF-WAY
DEDICATIONS,PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY,AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
Section 1: Defines that the purpose of the ordinance is to establish a regulatory mechanism whereby real
property can be dedicated to the City and the City can accept the same, for public use for transportation
purposes when dedication and acceptance through final platting is not appropriate.
Section 2: Amends SVMC 10.05 to include new sections 10.05.450 and 10.05.455 regarding the
procedure for acceptance of right of way.
Section 3: provides for a severability clause.
Section 4: states this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect five (5) days after publication of the
Ordinance Summary.
